Week one has been hard, with apprehensions, and sore muscles, but the mental gain has been nothing less than phenomenal! I feel so accomplished everyday when I drive away from boot camp! It really makes my day! Plus I am losing weight and inches already! You guys rock! Thanks for a great week 1. Looking forward to many more!" — April "This first week has been so great for me on many levels. I'm happier, healthier, and just feel better all around -- and it's only been a week! I knew I was pretty out of shape but didn't know how bad it had gotten. The first day of bootcamp was a great big slap in the face for me about my current condition. I struggled a lot and was pretty disgusted at my lack of endurance, but that has only motivated me more and even further convinced me that I'm doing the right thing by taking part in Operation RAC. The trainers are exceptionally helpful and encouraging, and have been really great in showing me ways to do some of the harder exercises in easier ways (especially those darn burpees!) until I'm comfortable doing them the way everyone else is. I'm also enjoying the comradery with the other bootcampers. Running around in the dark through mud and wet grass with a bunch of strangers builds a unique bond! Thanks for a great first week.
